About Us

Laurie Desjardins is the owner of Sleeping Tiger, LLC and My Brothers’ Keeper Animal Sanctuary. A college graduate, she has lived in many states but has found her home in Green Country of northeast Oklahoma.

After college, Laurie moved to Montana and became a silver and gold smith in the heart of the Cabinet Mountains, 35 miles from the nearest town of Libby. After living off of the land for several years, she moved up to Kalispell and became an Investment Advisor with Target Investment Advisory, LLC. In 1999, having reached her financial goals, she decided to dedicate her life to service and moved to Colorado to work in big cat rescue.

With her background in silver and gold smithing, customers can expect high quality, one of a kind, hand-made ZenSticks™ at a reasonable cost. Highly dedicated, she finds great reward in working with people, her customer service and sales assistance are second to none.
